At the heart of the GFE1650CSC is the Cummins KTA50-GS8 engine, a turbocharged, direct-injection industrial diesel engine renowned for its durability, high torque, and efficiency. Operating at 50Hz and 1500rpm, it delivers 1500kVA prime and 1650kVA standby power, with a full-load current of 2165A. The engine features an electronic governor for precise speed control, a water-cooled system for efficient thermal management, and a wet sump with filler and dipstick for easy lubrication maintenance. At full load, the generator consumes 309 litres of fuel per hour, providing reliable performance for the most demanding industrial, commercial, and offshore applications.
